A home away from home

Don’t just feel like guests! Our desire is for everyone to experience that special comfort and care at our guesthouse, like you usually would experience at a stay at grandma’s house.

A family story

“Griaß enk” at the Landhotel Pacher!

Our hotel is a family affair!

Annemarie and Thomas took over the hotel in 2012 as third generation of the Pacher family. But the whole family helps out and leads the business together (some more than others): Grandmother Kathi still passionately cooks her delicious, traditional Austrian and regional dishes. Grandfather Thomas still takes care of every little issue, small or big, and will always be the concierge of the house. And even though Thomas’ sister Claudia and Thomas & Alina (Thomas and Annemarie’s children) are busy in their own professions, they still help out whenever they can. The one uniting passion that motivates all of them: hospitality.

A journey through history

The buildings, which have since become the hotel, are full of history. In the partially protected monuments you can still find small and big evidences of the past. The building once was home to a wheel making business. This lead to the popular vulgo name “Platzrader” (translated “plaza wheel maker”) which is still used by the locals. We even incorporated the wheel symbol in our current hotel logo. In the partially protected monuments you can still find small and big evidences of the past.
